Sugarloaf Mills names new director of marketing and business development

Simon, a global leader in the ownership of premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations, has named Benjamin Ball the new director of marketing and business development at Sugarloaf Mills. Atlanta’s largest outlet and value shopping destination features over 180 retailers, including Eddie Bauer, Forever 21, Lego Factory Outlet, H&M, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Nike Factory Store, Saks 5th Avenue OFF 5TH and Sun & Ski Sports. In his new role, Ball will be responsible for the overall strategic marketing direction of the shopping center including advertising, tourism marketing, retailer promotions, public relations and the execution of community events. His efforts will primarily focus on positive community relations and driving families and shoppers to enjoy what Sugarloaf Mills has to offer at the property.


Ball brings previous Simon experience to Sugarloaf Mills, having served as the interim and assistant
director of marketing and business development for Jersey Shore Premium Outlets and South Shore
Plaza. He is committed to continuing to position Sugarloaf Mills as the top retail, dining and entertainment
center in Gwinnett County and surrounding communities while also immersing himself in retail industry
knowledge.


The Gardner-Webb University graduate earned his M.B.A. in marketing and a B.S. in sports management
with a minor in marketing and Spanish. He currently resides in Dunwoody, Ga.
