SUV Crashes Through Emory Parking Deck, Driver Rescued
DeKalb fire officials rescued a driver Tuesday after their SUV crashed through a parking deck.
ATLANTA, GA — A driver crashed an SUV through an Emory University Hospital parking deck Tuesday.
DeKalb County fire officials were able to rescue the driver, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The cause of the accident isn’t clear, but Capt. Dion Bentley told the AJC that it appears the vehicle backed through a wall on the second level of the deck.
The driver hasn’t been identified. The parking deck remains closed until further notice.

In January, a woman got stuck in an SUV that fell over the side of a Buckhead Target parking deck and crashed into a wall. Firefighters were called to rescue her.
