Sweet Inman’s Candies Coming to Krog Street Market

ATLANTA, GA - From Krog Street Market: Krog Street Market is thrilled to welcome its latest market addition, Sweet Inman’s Candies, a new concept from The Daniel Richards Group, the retail team behind The Merchant, Archer Paper Goods, and Read Shop. A far cry from the typical candy shop, the 1,000 square foot stall will boast a metropolitan feel with bold colors throughout while standout tile flooring creates a delightful contrast to the usual concrete found inside the market.

Inspired by candy shops of years past, Sweet Inman’s appeals to the young and the young at heart who crave a modern and hip twist on a classic candy shop. Open during regular weekday market hours as well as a bit later on weekends, you’ll find old school sweets like jelly beans, hard candies and multiple flavors of cotton candy while discovering new favorites on the shelves of Krog Street Market’s newest addition. Set to open in late November, the new market stall will also offer boxed candy, bulk candy, and a selection of classic Boylan sodas and other sweet finds!

“Don’t expect to see your typical run-of-the-mill candy shop stock,” says owner Dan Collier, “Things like chocolate won’t be carried at Sweet Inman’s Candies. Our goal has always been to stand out by creating a well thought out selection of current and desirable goods while also keeping the unexpected on the table.”

The Daniel Richards Group owns and operates four retail concepts across Georgia and Texas including The Merchant and Co., a gift, vintage, and home goods store; Read Shop by The Merchant, a bookstore with coffee bar concept serving Stumptown Coffee; Archer Paper Goods, a stationery, and supplies shop with an extensive greeting card selection; Collier Candy Company, a classic candy shop focused on chocolates and kid’s candies.

“We love the vision of this brand new concept from Dan and his team,” added David Cochran, President Paces Properties “In finalizing this last stall tenant, we were hoping to fill a unique niche of retail but driven by food. Sweet Inman’s Candies allows us to do that while catering to customer needs and wants for gifts like candy bags for birthdays, baskets, holiday gifts and custom items.”
