Synchronicity Theatre Opens A Year With Frog and Toad

This delightful family-friendly musical runs through December 30th.

On December 7th, Synchronicity Theatre opened A Year With Frog and Toad, a family-friendly musical based on Arnold Lobel’s beloved characters, Frog and Toad.

A hit on Broadway, A Year with Frog and Toad was nominated for three Tony Awards – including Best Musical -- and is known for its sophisticated lyrics, beautiful story, and hummable score by Robert and Willie Reale. The show follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and the grumpy, impulsive Toad through four fun-filled seasons in which they plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way. Part vaudeville, part make-believe, A Year with Frog and Toad is a story of a friendship that endures.

A Year with Frog and Toad is directed by Jenna Tamisiea, and features music direction by Suzi Award-Winning Amanda Wansa Morgan (The Color Purple) and choreography by Jenise Cook. The cast includes Atlanta-based actors Matt Baum as Frog, Greg Hunter as Toad, Elliott Folds as Bird/Snail, Taryn Janelle as Bird/Mouse, and Lyndsay Ricketson as Bird/Turtle.
