Tattoo Feud Led To Little Five Points Shooting: Police
Police say the argument, between employees of rival tattoo parlors, started on Instagram and ended in a shooting in the popular district.

ATLANTA, GA — A rivalry between employees of competing tattoo parlors led to a shooting Thursday night in Little Five Points, according to police.
According to police, the argument began on Instagram. It led to a 49-year-old man being shot in the thigh at about 9:36 p.m. Thursday on Euclid Avenue, in the heart of the popular entertainment and shopping district.
"This all stemmed from some smack talking between two competing businesses," Atlanta Police spokesman Capt. Andrew Senzer told WSB-TV.

An off-duty police officer who was working security at a concert in Little Five Points chased the shooter, who ran through an alley and fired several shots at the officer, police say. The officer was not hit and Keith Wood, 38, was arrested outside The Wrecking Bar Brewpub at 292 Moreland Ave.
Wood is charged with two counts of aggravated assault — one of them against a police officer.

The victim, whom police were not naming publicly Friday morning, was taken to Atlanta Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
Andrew Kahle, president of the Little Five Points Business Association, told WSB this was the second such incident in the past week.
"This is the second time in a week that we had a personal beef become a breach of peace," Kahle Davis told the station. "And it's a problem. And I'm not a big fan of that sort of thing."
