Teen Boy Hit By Car Friday Morning In Northwest Atlanta
A 14-year-old boy is in serious condition after being hit by a car Friday morning off Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, Atlanta Police say.
ATLANTA, GA — A 14-year-old boy was hit by a car Friday morning and is now in serious condition at a local hospital, police say.
The boy was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital around 8:15 a.m. after he was hit near the 2400 block of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, Atlanta Police said.
The AJC reported that the driver of the white Chevrolet Camaro that hit the boy remained at the scene and was speaking with investigators, Capt. Rodney Woody told AJC.com. Another 11-year-old boy in that car had a minor cut to his finger from the accident and was being treated at the scene Friday morning, the AJC said.

It is believed the 14-year-old was waiting for a school bus when he was hit, police say.
