Update: Dead Teen in Oakland City Park Identified
Bridget Shiel, 19, was found naked and shot to death next to a basketball court in a downtown Atlanta park on Tuesday morning.
ATLANTA, GA -- Police are still investigating the death of a teenager who was found naked and shot to death at Oakland City Park.
The body of Bridget Shiel, 19, was found early Tuesday morning. Police found the body around 7 am while investigating an injured-persons call. Shiel was found near the park's basketball court.
Major Adam Lee said police don't believe Shiel was assaulted at the location where her body was found.

"We are trying to identify where she lives, where she may have worked, her lifestyle, criminal history — anything that might lead us to identifying why she ended up in Oakland City Park,” Lee said during a Tuesday news conference.
He also said police have no leads in the case. Investigators are looking into Shiel's background and are interviewing friends and family members.
