Three Grinches Break Into Charity HQ, Steal Gifts for Kids
The individuals are still at large following Monday night heist, say Newnan police.

COWETA COUNTY, GA — The police in Newnan are looking for three people who broke into the office of a local charity on Monday night and stole bicycles and other items donated as Christmas gifts for needy children.
At about 7:55 p.m. Monday, two individuals kicked in the door of Bridging the Gap, at 19 First Ave. in Newnan, and stole an electric guitar, a 32-inch TV and DVD player, and several food and beverage items, the police said. They left the business at about 8:15 p.m.
They returned at about 9:30 p.m. with a third individual and took three children's bicycles, leaving the charity's office at about 9:36 p.m., the police said.

The city of Newnan is the seat of Coweta County, a suburban area southwest of Atlanta.
The thieves were captured on surveillance cameras inside the Bridging the Gap office, and the police later recovered the bikes, which were left on nearby railroad tracks.

Despite the burglary, Bridging the Gap still plans to donate toys this Christmas to about 1,300 children in the area, WSB-TV reported. If you'd like to help out Bridge the Gap click here.
