Trial Begins in World Changers Church Shooting

The victim was gunned down while leading the congregation in prayer.

ATLANTA, GA -- The trial of a man accused of gunning down a church member while he was leading the congregation in prayer began on Monday.

Floyd Palmer was indicted in January 2013 on charges that he murdered 39-year-old Gregory McDowell on Oct. 24, 2012.

McDowell was gunned down as he led a prayer service at the World Changers International Church, located in College Park.
