Trump Shooter Had Photos Of Fulton DA Fani Willis On Phone: Report
Investigators found that Thomas Crooks, who shot Donald Trump, had photos of Fulton County DA Fani Willis and other Democrats on his phone.

ATLANTA, GA — The man who tried to assassinate former President Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania rally last weekend had photos of other public figures on his phone, including Fulton District Attorney Fani Willis, CNN is reporting.
Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire at Trump's rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania, last weekend, killing a person in the crowd and injuring the former president and two spectators. Snipers guarding the rally fired on and killed Crooks within seconds, authorities said.
In the days following the shooting, investigators trying to piece together information about Crooks discovered pictures of Trump and President Joe Biden on the would-be assassin’s phone, three U.S. officials told CNN.

Most of the pictures appeared to have been downloaded from the internet and were not accompanied by any threatening language or messages, according to CNN.
Investigators also found that the shooter looked up the dates for the Democratic National Convention as well as Trump’s appearances, according to the people who spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity to discuss details of the ongoing probe.
He also searched for “major depressive disorder,” according to three people familiar the investigation. But investigators have not yet determined whether he was actually diagnosed with the disorder, one of the people said.
Investigators have been searching for any clues into what motivated Crooks to open fire at Saturday's campaign rally in an attempt to assassinate the GOP presidential nominee. Trump suffered an ear injury but was not seriously hurt, appearing just days later at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee with a bandage over the wound.
The FBI has said they were investigating it as a potential act of domestic terrorism, but the absence of a clear ideological motive by the man shot dead by the Secret Service has led conspiracy theories to flourish.
Crooks used an AR-style rifle, which authorities said was purchased legally by his father. Investigators also found he brought multiple loaded magazines. He also bought 50 rounds on the day of the shooting. The rifle was purchased legally by his father years earlier.
Authorities found a bulletproof vest in his car and another rudimentary explosive device at his home, where over the past few months he had received several packages, including some that had potentially hazardous material.
The FBI gained access to Crooks’ cellphone, scoured his computer, home and car, and interviewed more than 100 people following the shooting.
