Two Dead in NW Atlanta Burger King Shooting
Two Atlanta police officers were injured while chasing down suspects.

ATLANTA, GA -- Two Atlanta police officers were injured and three people are in custody after a shooting in a Burger King parking lot left two people dead.
The incident happened around midnight at the Burger King on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. Police found a car in the parking lot riddled with bullets, according to the AJC. One person had been shot behind the wheel, while another had been shot in the parking lot.
Police chased another suspect who reportedly had a gun onto I-285. The suspect was caught, but two officers suffered leg injuries after a police car accidentally struck them during the chase. They were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital along with the suspect they apprehended.
