Tyler Perry Gifts Atlanta Nonprofit Founder With New Car
The founder of Project U First was making deliveries to the homeless in an old vehicle. Tyler Perry surprised her with a new van.
ATLANTA, GA — An Atlanta woman who’s known for delivering health and hygiene bags to the homeless was doing her charity in a 2008 Honda Civic. Tyler Perry heard about her story and did what he’s always done in the city—give back.
He purchased Erica Wright of Project U First, a new van, reported WSB-TV.
“A huge thank you to Tyler Perry for donating U First a 2020 Ford Connect Transit Van. This van will allow us to serve so many people in need. Mr. Perry what you do for the community is truly amazing! May God continue to bless you and keep you in perfect peace. God’s Grace is Sufficient,” she wrote on an Instagram post.
