Tyler Perry Releases Anti Trafficking PSA With GA First Lady

Tyler Perry and Georgia First Lady Marty Kemp released a PSA, urging others to join the fight against human trafficking.

ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta media mogul Tyler Perry is usually in the spotlight for his local charitable acts. This time, he has a special announcement. Joined by Georgia’s first lady, the two have released a public service announcement urging others to join the fight against human trafficking.

“Working together, we can be the force of good that ends human trafficking once and for all,” Perry says in the video, which posted online this week.

Produced by Tyler Perry Studios, the one-minute video tells viewers to participate in First Lady Marty Kemp’s Human Trafficking Awareness Training to learn about warning signs and get help.

Last week, Gov. Kemp announced the creation of a new GBI unit dedicated to fighting human trafficking and ending “modern-day slavery,” reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
