U.S. House Probes Fulton DA Amid Trump Election Interference Case
The U.S. House Judiciary Committee accused Willis of infringing upon Trump's free speech, and that of his defendants, a media report says.

ATLANTA, GA — The U.S. House Judiciary Committee is investigating Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, asking for any records of her communication with federal officials regarding her probe of former President Donald Trump, a media report says.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Thursday Rep. Jim Jordan, chairman of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, in a letter accused Willis of infringing upon Trump's free speech, and that of his defendants. The AJC also reported Jordan would like to know if Willis spoke with the Department of Justice or the Biden Administration during her probe of Trump.
Willis accused Trump and 18 allies of trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election. The group was indicted on Aug. 14, facing several charges that include impersonating a police officer and violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
