Woman Shot to Death in Southwest Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA — A woman was shot to death Thursday morning while driving through a southwest Atlanta intersection.

Police told CBS46 that Shanna Smith, 24, was driving through intersection of Hadlock Street and Leslie Avenue when she was shot. Smith is believed to have been heading home after work.

Smith suffered two gunshot wounds to the head. She was found inside her vehicle off Leslie Avenue, with the car's wheels still spinning.

Police collected about 30 shell casings from nearby. No arrests have been made.
