What an incredible statistic! We had a 98.4% occupancy rate in the shelter for September.
Some of you might be asking what a "bednight" is. We have a 15 bed shelter. In a 30 day month, like September, we can offer 450 places for someone who has left an abusive relationship to sleep safely. In September we had a 98.4% occupancy rate, or utilized 443 of those 450 bed spaces.
