So, the political sign battle between me and my opponent is heating up.
He has his signs in his areas and I have mine.
We are now starting to infiltrate each other's areas and branch out into other much needed, heavily trafficked routes.
The question is, do signs really matter?
My response is, "Yes!"
As I travel Winder, knocking on doors, talking to people and asking for permission to post signs I hear, "Oh, you're the lady with all the signs posted all over town...
sure, put one in my yard"...or I hear, "We will vote for you, but we don't allow political signs",...or I am just angrily treated...no matter. Democracy is a wonderful thing...At least we have the safe chance for dialogue.
My plan it's to keep knocking, keep talking and to keep asking for permission to post my signs.
There are those who think (and vote) based on the number of signs posted and I aim to win that race.
Folks need to be asked for their vote and they need to see the candidate out working for, their votes.
I am that candidate...asking, working and posting signs for your vote.
I care about Winder and together we can make it a better city!
