Area Set to Lose 170 Jobs with Closing of Braselton Distribution Center
Tractor Supply Company has outgrown its Braselton facility and will be moving to a new distribution center Bibb County.
AccessNorthGa.com reports a major farm and ranch store chain is closing its Braselton distribution center.
Executives of the Brentwood, Tenn.-based Tractor Supply Company said they've outgrown the facility they've been leasing on Highway 124 in Braselton. The distribution center employs 170 people.
The company plans to build a new facility in Bibb County.
The website says that according to a company press release, Tractor Supply is helping its Braselton team members find careers elsewhere in the company, as well as offering relocation assistance and/or severance packages to affected employees.
