Barricaded Man Arrested During SWAT Incident: GA Cops

WINDER, GA — A man who barricaded himself at a location in the area of Box Circle was arrested during a SWAT incident Sunday night in Winder, authorities said.

The Barrow County Sheriff's Office and Winder Police responded to the scene around 9:15 p.m. Authorities did not specify the location where they say the suspect was barricaded.

After the SWAT team arrived, authorities said Alexander Agapi peacefully surrendered and was taken into custody.

He was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threats, and was taken to the Barrow County Detention Center, authorities said.
