Barrow County School System: Interchange Dedicated To BCSS Counselor

Judy Loftin served Barrow County School System students for 30 years. As a counselor at Winder-Barrow Middle School, Bramlett Elementary and Winder-Barrow High and as a Sunday School teacher at Winder First United Methodist Church, she was dedicated to guiding and growing young minds until her death in 2017.

During her life, she was recognized with several honors including Middle School Counselor of the Year for the State of Georgia in 2003. She will now be honored with the naming of the interchange at SR 81 and SR 316/US 29 in Barrow County as the "Judy Hill Loftin, LPC Memorial Interchange."

The dedication ceremony is Saturday, Sept. 4, at 2 p.m. at Winder-Barrow High School's W. Clair Harris Stadium.
