Barrow County School System: NGPG Athletic Trainer Agreement With BCSS

Thank you to Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) for teaming up with Barrow County School System for the sake of our student athletes! Three NGPG Certified Athletic Trainers will now share medical expertise and support with Apalachee High School, Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy and Winder-Barrow High School during games and practices while also offering educational opportunities throughout the year.

Manager of Health Services Lance McNamara says, “The combined services will provide additional resources to support the student - athlete when a healthcare need arises. It raises the bar on the standard of care for the student at AHS, BASA and WBHS.”

We are grateful to our District Partner in Education Northeast Georgia Medical Center Barrow and its medical staff for all they do to support and care for students and staff!
