Barrow Residents Earn Degrees, Honors

Colleges and universities have announced graduates and honors lists.

The following Barrow residents were among the 750 students who graduated this spring from Brenau University.

  • Dawn Marie Goolsby, an early childhood education major from Bethlehem, received a bachelor of science.
  • Raynelle S. Jones, a middle grades education major from Bethlehem, received a master of education.
  • Heidi Denise Coffey, a nursing major from Winder, received a bachelor of science in nursing. She is the daughter of Shirley Bentley.
  • Vicky Cole, an early childhood education major from Winder, received a master of arts in teaching.
  • Ashley Aleisha Croy, a nursing major from Winder, received a bachelor of science in nursing.
  • Hannah Jewel Croy, a middle grades education major from Winder, received a bachelor of science.
  • Cynthia Ann Leslie, a nursing major from Winder, received a bachelor of science in nursing.
  • Natalie Shea Lewis, a accounting major from Winder, received a master of business administration.
  • Jay Thomas Mollett, a health care management major from Winder, received a master of business administration.
  • Christine Marie Shaheen, a clinical counseling psychology major from Winder, received a master of science.
  • Lyn Marie Simmons, a business administration major from Winder, received a master of business administration.
  • Danielle Sue Teply, a nursing major from Winder, received a bachelor of science in nursing.
  • Paige Elizabeth Craven, a dance studies major from Auburn, received a bachelor of arts.
  • Adrian Jamese Dunegan, a business major from Auburn, received a bachelor of business administration.
  • Gregory Mashon Gaines, an organizational leadership major from Auburn, received a master of science.
  • Melissa Parris Holland, a nursing major from Auburn, received a bachelor of science in nursing.
  • Karin Johnson Ihle, a nursing major from Auburn, received a bachelor of science in nursing.
  • Tenezee Erama Johnson, a fashion merchandising major from Auburn, received a bachelor of arts.
  • Chantal Maxene Lajeunesse, a nursing major from Auburn, received a bachelor of science in nursing.
  • Monica Parra, a nursing major from Auburn, received a bachelor of science in nursing.
  • Karen J. Taylor, an early childhood education major from Auburn, received a master of arts in teaching.
  • James Eric Addison, a business major from Statham, received a bachelor of business administration.

The following student graduated from Georgia College and State University.

  • Tempestt Jackson of Winder has earned a bachelor of arts in art from Georgia College & State University.

The following Barrow residents were named to the president's or dean's list for their college or school at Mercer University for the Spring 2011 semester. Inclusion on these lists requires students to meet rigorous grade-point-average standards specific to their school within the University.
