Bethlehem Council Discusses Annexation
The Barrow County News reports the town council is considering looking into annexing properties into the town limits.

While the city of Winder is executing a plan to extend its city limits to Ga. Highway 316 through annexation, the Bethlehem Town Council discussed the same topic during a recent meeting, the Barrow County News reports.Β
Mayor Sandy McNab brought up the possibility of hiring a consultant to assist the town withΒ talking to property owners about annexing into the town's limits.

A recent report by theΒ Barrow JournalΒ that the city of Winder has begun an "aggressive annexation plan" to extend its city limits all the way to Ga. Highway 316 was confirmed byΒ Mayor David MaynardΒ andΒ Winder City Administrator Donald Toms, who outlined reasons Winder is seeking to expand its boundaries.Β
