WINDER, GA – Are you caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias? Join Athens Community Council on Aging (ACCA) at Winder Adult Day Health at 63 Lee Street for the next caregiver luncheon.
The support group meets every month for lunch and networking and the next meeting will be on Friday, May 31 at 12:00 p.m. This month’s meeting will be a group discussion. In addition, Jessica Bankston, the program director for GeorgiaCares will present a brief discussion on Medicare. Please bring any questions, concerns, or issues you are having at home and we can discuss possible solutions and strategies.

This program provides an opportunity for individuals caring for someone with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementias to fellowship with other caregivers, participate in educational programs, have questions answered about your loved one’s care, and gain knowledge from health care professionals.
Pre-registration is required and care for your loved one and lunch will be provided at no cost to you. Please RSVP to Keith Adams at 678-425-0718 or email kadams@accaging.org. Space is limited.
