Where Are You From?
This is an introduction to my life ... the life of a missionary kid and what I learned from it.

One question I get asked a lot when moving to a new place is, "Where are you from?"
This question always throws me for a loop. I never know exactly what to say. Sure, I could say South Carolina — that is where I lived when my husband was in the Marine Corps. I could say Florida, because that is where I graduated from high school and went to college. I could say Brazil, where I spent my ninth-grade year and learned to play soccer. How about Bolivia, where I traveled into the jungle to work among the Indians and learned to make bread? My favorite would be Africa, where my earliest memories of life come from.
I feel as if I have lived an entire lifetime before my 20th birthday. But time goes on, and so has my life ... so all I can do is reflect back on what I have been through and use it as life lessons. I hope that some of the stories I will be sharing will bring you laughs, make you remember your own experiences and maybe give you a glimps of what it is truly like to live in two totally differnt worlds.
