Braselton BULLI Class Registration Extended

The town is set to offer thought-provoking, non-credit classes for mature adults through new satellite campus of Brenau University.

The Brenau University Learning and Leisure Institute — also known as BULLI — has been offering non-credit classes designed for mature adults who wish to stimulate their thinking and expand their knowledge since 1994.

Beginning this summer, the new Braselton satellite campus will offer day and night classes designed for the same purpose — to take local residents on a “lifelong learning adventure”. As an added bonus, membership in the Braselton BULLI Program will be reciprocal with the Gainesville program.

Initially scheduled to close May 23, registration for this inaugural session in Braselton has been extended through the end of May. Interested parties are invited to visit Braselton Town Hall from 8 a.m.to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday register. Classes offered during the introductory, six-week summer term are:

  • Street Smart — What You Need to Know as You Retire
  • Appalachian Culture — It's Not An Oxymoron!
  • Introduction to Yoga
  • Wine Without Pretense
  • Healing Arts for Everyone

  • Put It in Perspective — A Realistic Drawing Workshop
  • Exploring Southern Landscapes
  • Creative Non-Fiction Writing

These classes are scheduled to run June 4 through July 13, 2012.
