In case that you haven't noticed I have not heard one criticism or complaint against any of the actions taken or programs initiated by the Mayor and Council during my tenure as a city councilman. Running the city as a 30 million dollar business has not been mentioned. Securing a water source for the next 30 to 40 years has not been discussed. Reorganizing the city's utility billing system and establishing new service distribution contracts that have saved the city over 3 million dollars per year has not been evaluated.
This current city government is far from perfect and I would like to have a re-vote on a number of issues, for example; as hard as we try, keeping the city clean has been a major challenge and Code Enforcement continues to be a daily issue.
Sound business decisions is the name of the game and we have taken giant steps in that area.
