Winder to Consider Changes to Sign Ordinance

The city of Winder is considering changes to an ordinance that outlines sign requirements for local businesses.

Members of the Winder Downtown Development Authority are set to discuss proposed changes to the ordinance during a meeting at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at the .

The city plans to address electronic sign boards, heigh requirements, window signs and temporary signs.

The city's sign ordinance was most recently updated in 2007, according to City Planner Barry Edgar.
