Did you really say that, Mr. Incumbent?!

Know who you are voting for!

Yes, my opponents have lived in Winder for a very long time.  They know a lot of people, and have done a lot of things while they’ve lived here.  But I’m not sure everything they’ve done (or said) would be considered noble.

Many people speak of a Downtown Development Authority meeting where Bob Dixon (the Incumbent) told Gwen Hill, Helen Person, and Mace Strickland (three prominent and well respected women in Winder) that they would be perceived better if they brought their husbands with them to the meeting.

Helen Person wrote about the article in the Barrow Journal.  The article can be found at http://www.barrowjournal.com/archives/4921-PERSON-Are-women-still-second-class.html#comments.

In addition, Gwen Hill wrote about the incident in her Letter to the Editor in the Barrow News on Wednesday, October 23, 2013.

I’m not sure about you, but I couldn't disagree more with Mr. Dixon's sentiment, and I hope you don't agree with him either.  Don’t let him speak for you on the Winder City Council!

Learn more about me at https://www.facebook.com/TobiasWinderCityCouncil and vote Nicole Tobias for Winder City Council on November 5!
