Host Your Own Spring Fling at the Carl Gazebo

Once Barrow County has received a reprieve from this fine dusting of pollen that has North Georgia residents sniffling and sneezing, it may well be time to host an outdoor party to celebrate its departure.

No matter the reason for the revelry, the town of Carl has a lovely space that’s perfect for housing the al fresco festivities. The gazebo located in the park next to city hall is available for rent. The best part is — it’s free to residents of Carl.

A $50 security deposit is all that’s required to hold the space for weddings, birthday parties, family picnics and more. The deposit is fully refundable as long as there’s no damage to the gazebo or surrounding grounds and guests clean up before they leave.

Rental of the gazebo is also open to non-residents, and fees are as follows:

• $30 for four hours
• $60 for eight hours
• $100 for weddings

Davis can be reached during regular city hall hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
