Local Students Earn Degrees, Honors
Colleges and universities have announced graduates and honors lists.
Anna Dillard of Winder graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics—economics from Agnes Scott College. Dillard is the daughter of James Dillard and Susan Harvin.
The following students have received degrees from Georgia Southern University.

The following students were named to the dean's list for spring 2011 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Undergraduate students earning a 3.00 or higher academic average for the semester gain the distinction of being named to the dean's list at Georgia Tech.

The following students were named to the president’s list at Georgia Southern University for spring 2011. To be eligible for the president's list, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.
