New Wildlife Plates Now Available
Colorful license plates promoting wildlife conservation can be purchased from local tag offices.

Three new wildlife license plate designs are available in local tag offices, the Georgia Department of Natural Resourcesβ Wildlife Resources Division announced. Officials said that thanks to a new license plate process, the new, rich-colored images cover the entire plate β making an even bolder statement for supporting wildlife conservation. After Georgians voted their choice for the next generation of wildlife plates, chosen designs include the soaring bald eagle; the bobwhite quail, deer and wild turkey and the brook trout rising to a fly.
The sale of these three plates help support the conservation efforts of the Wildlife Resources Division.
βWe are pleased to announce the availability of these beautiful new designs for wildlife license plates,β said Dan Forster, director of the Wildlife Resources Division.Β βOur hope is that these plates will be extremely popular because their proceeds fund critical conservation work in Georgia.β
