Parents Share How Students' First Day of School Went

Barrow Patch asked parents on Facebook how their child's first day of school went. Here's what they had to say.

• Marne M — My daughter came home and declared that her first day of kindergarten was "fantastic" and "awesome." I think that's a success! :-) She was very excited.

• Valerie Garrett — It was a rough day for my 6th grader at WBMS. Who wrote those scheduals anyway? A rocket scientist?? Why are there two? Can't they make it on one piece of paper. I fixed it in less than 5 min on my computer. Today should be a better day :)
