• Dan Woschitz, head coach for Apalachee's boys tennis team
  "The boys varsity tennis team lost to a powerful Flowery Branch team ... falling to 5-8 on the season and 3-6 in Region 8AAAA North Sub-Region.  Playing well for the Wildcats were Jamie Heglund, Brandon Tovar, Zach Batt, Lee Vue and Ryan Tanner. ... The boys varsity tennis team lost a close match 2-3 to Archer, which finished their regular season 13-4. Winning the two points for the Wildcats were Micheal Duchesne 8-4 at No. 3 singles, and Brandon Tovar and Zach Batt 9-7 at No. 1 doubles. Losing in close matches were No. 2 singles, Alex Soubannarath, 7-9, and No. 2 doubles, Lee Vue and Ryan Tanner, (who) lost 6-8 after fighting back from a huge 1-4 deficit."

  "We played at Archer ... and lost 4-1. Our lone win was from Kayla Vickery. We played Thursday at Flowery Branch and lost 5-0. The Lady Falcons are extremely talented and are currently undefeated in region play (9-0)."
