Loganville Man Killed In Four-Way Crash on Hwy. 316

The Georgia State Patrol says the man was following too closely and struck the truck in front of him as it slowed at a red light.

LOGANVILLE, GA — A Loganville man was killed Wednesday during a crash involving four trucks on Hwy. 316 in Barrow County.

Martin Andrade-Cerda, 55, was driving a box truck at about 1:45 p.m. when three other trucks were slowing down for a red light at Ga. 81, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Andrade-Cerda was following too closely and hit one of the trucks, according to the GSP. The impact knocked that truck into the truck in front of it, which, in turn, hit a fourth truck.

The trucks came to an uncontrolled rest and Andrade-Cerda died on the scene, according to the state patrol. There were no other reported injuries in the crash.
