You can take our (the candidates') word when we say things about ourselves. But, let's be honest, we can say anything about ourselves and our own work. Who knows if our perceptions of ourselves are at all accurate. Instead, I would love for you to consider the opinions of people who know me and are supporting my campaign:

AMY HARRELL: To my fellow Winder voters,
I cannot emphasize enough the importance of Tuesday’s election for the at-large seat for Winder City Council. Everywhere I turn, I hear people saying that it is time for CHANGE, time for Winder to move out of the dark ages and progress into the city that I *know* we can become. We desperately need someone with new, fresh ideas to propel this city into prosperity. We must create an environment that attracts and welcomes new business. There is absolutely no valid reason why Winder can’t be a destination location for shopping, dining and entertaining – like many of the small towns nearby. I have spent many hours with the person that I firmly believe can help our town achieve these goals…….and many more. Nicole Tobias, in my humble opinion, is the absolute best candidate to fill this seat. Many people have asked me, “Who is Nicole Tobias?” or “Why should I cast my vote for Nicole Tobias?” Nicole was not born and raised in Winder nor has she lived here for 20+ years. She doesn’t worry about who the “good ol’ boys” are and she is unabashedly open and straight-forward. She is fearless when it comes to asking the tough questions and does not hesitate to go toe-to-toe with anyone, including the higher-ups, if it means getting answers for the citizens of Winder. Nicole listens, researches solutions to problems and looks at the big picture. She is detail-oriented, highly educated and wants nothing more than to make this city the very best it can be for EVERY citizen, regardless of your social status or last name. COLETTE O'CONNOR: I have worked with Nikki at Peace Place, and I can tell you first hand that she is a doer. She is passionate about doing the right thing, and she does what she says she will do. Nikki is an innovative and a creative thinker. She will come up with ideas that are new and motivating. Winder will not be disappointed when they elect Nikki for City Council.
