Winder Council to Discuss Proposed Name for Former Granite Hotel Site

The Winder City Council will meet for a work session at 6 p.m. today at the preceding Tuesday's regular business meeting. 

Council members will discuss the proposed name for the former site. According to the meeting agenda, which can be viewed in full to the right of this text, the Winder Downtown Development Authority voted unanimously in July to recommend the site be named Richard B. Russell Park after the late senator from Winder.
