Winder Fountain Could Be Smaller Version of Centennial Olympic Park's Waterworks

The fountain is a component of the proposed site plan for the former site of the Old Granite Hotel.

While plans to make the former in downtown Winder into a park haven't yet been finalized, there has been talk of a possible splash fountain. 

If approved by the Winder City Council, the fountain could be similar to the one at Centennial Olympic Park — "but obviously at a much smaller scale," City Planner Barry Edgar said in an e-mail. "Children could run through this type of fountain."
