10TEN Handles Hoofs Under Brookhaven Roofs

The first day of Spring is just two days away so prepare to let the toes out to play.

So, in the spirit of the season, I sprang into action at Natural Body Spa and Shop's 10TEN boutique to complete my secret shopping and site brand assessment activities. I approached the door beneath the 10TEN sign but to my surprise, the door was locked. Ah, there was a lovely sign that I wasn't looking for that redirected me to the Natural Body door about 15 feet away. I cautiously entered, wondering if I would have to pass through a security check to gain admittance to the intriguing 10TEN establishment.

Luckily Danielle, the Assistant Manager, welcomed me into the store and escorted me to my desired area.  She explained the concept behind 10TEN – an enhanced nail bar for healthy looking fingers and toes that integrates Natural Body’s custom blended natural elements into a restoration experience for hands and feet. The place was impeccably clean and well-thought-out with zen-like sounds including those from a waterfall built into a rock wall to complete the ambiance. Whether reclining in a lounger, or seated before the wall with tootsies submerged in alabaster basins, or picking up a nail cocktail at the bar where ordering Brisa Gels can get you TIPSy, you’re sure to find a peaceful place to either engage or to meditate.

Danielle also introduced me to the suite of products that 10TEN offers to enrich the experience. Everything from nail implements to moisturizers to Pedi-Sox designed to keep the feet supple while airing the toes could be found. Waxing services, heated stone pedicure, and group spa services are also offered. In fact, I dare say that 10TEN may have too many products for the first-timer to truly digest without more assistance. Specifically, few want someone hovering over them while shopping, and the 10TEN team didn’t do this. However, the inclusion of a self-directed map with legend would help those of us who are newer to this concept to clearly understand the roadmap to healthy nail maintenance using their custom blends. But perhaps that’s just my unique view of the world!

In a very matter of fact fashion, 10TEN is named just as it sounds – first you say it, then you spell it which is quite important when searching for it online to research or book an appointment. And the brand is entirely focused on the benefit – healthier, happier digits for you and those in your proximity. Overall, 10TEN, while a bit pricier than standard nail establishments due to the added investments that they’ve made to ensure an enhanced experience, gets all 19 digits up leaving one to grow on.
