8th Annual Brookhaven Arts Festival Draws Thousands
Festival showcased more than 100 artists.
The 8th annual Brookhaven Arts Festival this weekend showcased more than 100 artists with work ranging from jewelery, folk art, fiber, painting, glass, photography, pottery, belts, sculpture, wood, and others. This festival has the largest range of work and the most artists involved of any previous festivals, said organizers.
"There are more artists here than ever and I’ve had a couple of artists join this morning wanting to participate, even a nationally acclaimed artist from LA,” said Gretchen Roberts, Brookhaven Arts Alliance Executive Director.
“I get phone calls from artists saying that they have sold more work here in one day than all of last year. It’s very exciting to hear news like that.”
