Ashford Park PTA Set for Grounds Clean-Up Day
The PTA is cleaning up the school grounds in anticipation of the new school year.

The PTA is planning its first grounds clean-up of the 2012-13 school year and needs your help.
The clean-up will be on Aug. 4 from 8 a.m. to noon and has the goals of trimming weeds, blowing leaves away and cleaning debris, focusing mainly on the front lawn and parking lot.

- work gloves
- weed eaters
- leaf blowers
- pruning shears
- lawn bags
If you plan to attend and have any of these items, email Jeff O’Connell at jeff@cobaltcontracting.com. If you can't attend, but want to lend the items, drop them off at the school with your name on them and they will be returned after clean-up ends.
The PTA is also putting together a plan to help streamline the grounds maintenance and provide more opportunities for beautification projects. Stay tuned for more details on that.
