Last week, I hosted a meet and greet for Jim Eyre at my home. Jim convinced a number of my neighbors to vote for him because: 1) his extensive experience with hiring contractors; 2) his experience in business keeping projects in budget; and 3) his status as an independent - he does not owe allegiance to the "insiders" - J. Max Davis and Mike Jacobs - already taking money from vendors to establish Brookhaven City contracts before we have even had a chance to vote.
