City Of Brookhaven Parks And Police To Deliver Easter Joy

Brookhaven’s Parks and Police departments are helping the Easter Bunny deliver goodies in a socially distant, safe way starting March 28.

“Since we will not hold our usual Easter egg hunts this year due to the pandemic, we thought helping the Easter Bunny with deliveries would be a fun way to spread some joy this year,” said Brian Borden, Parks & Recreation Director.

Parks & Recreation staff and Brookhaven Police officers will drop off 25 eggs per child (containing toy and non-chocolate candy) to the first 200 Brookhaven households with children 10 and under that sign up via a Google form.

The drop-off will occur the week of March 28. The City will not be able to guarantee a specific drop-off day, nor alert residents when drop-off occurs. Alternatively, residents can opt to pick up the eggs from the Lynwood Recreation Center at 3360 Osborne Road.
