At the Chamblee store, Chick-fil-A staff expect a busy day, said General Manager Mary McCullough. In past years, some customers have gone out and purchased costumes, while others made them for the event, she said.
"Usually, it's a big turnout," McCullough said. "It's fun to dress up and take the family out and get something for free. People look forward to it."

If you dress entirely in a cow costume - ears and tail included - you'll get a free meal, McCullough said.Β But even if you just show your spots, you'll still get a complimentary entree. So if you're feeling a little cow-ardly, try a T-shirt with spots or a cow-spotted scarf, purse, tie, hat or other accessory. Bring your calves (kids), or the whole herd (two or more).Β
