Artistic Director of Georgia Shakespeare, Richard Garner, directs a workshop production of a new musical adaptation of Oedipus Rex. Combining the musical styles and experience of three of the co-creators – Neal Ghant (hip hop/rap), Eugene Russell, IV (jazz/hip hop), and Jahi Kearse (neo-soul/jazz) – and featuring OU students, this workshop will play an instrumental role in the musical’s development ultimately preparing it for the Georgia Shakespeare upcoming season.
