Oglethorpe's Black Student Caucus invites you to its annual “Starting the Dialogue” program, a socio-political discussion panel led by OU students. This year, the discussion focuses on African-American art in its historical and current context. Scheduled guests include spoken word artist Darnell Fine and visual artist Leatrice Ellzy, Director of Artistic Programming and New Technologies at the National Black Arts Festival. A reception will immediately follow the discussion featuring live music, poetry, and visual art from local talent, national visual artist Samuel Renaissance, and international artist, Fahamu Pecou.
