Robert Olsen resigned from the DeKalb police department on Monday.

DECATUR, GA -- Robert Olsen, the DeKalb police officer who was indicted for murder last week in the fatal shooting of an unarmed veteran in Chamblee, resigned on Monday.

A DeKalb police sergeant confirmed Olsen’s resignation to the AJC.
