(wrdw.com) — Mosquito traps in ZIP codes covering parts of Brookhaven have tested positive for West Nile virus, adding to a growing cluster of detections across DeKalb County. With several human cases confirmed elsewhere in Georgia, local residents should take mosquito precautions seriously and watch for flu-like or more severe symptoms that could signal infection.
   

• Dancers forced to hand over tips to work at club, federal lawsuit says (wsbtv.com) — A former dancer at the Pink Pony in Brookhaven has filed a federal collective-action lawsuit claiming the club paid no wages and forced dancers to hand over large nightly fees that could total hundreds of dollars. The case alleges these practices pushed earnings below minimum wage, and it follows previous lawsuits against the well-known gentlemen's club in the city.
