LEGENDARY FUN AT THE PACE FALL FAIR

Pace Academy's 51st Annual Fall Fair (Rain or Shine)

Pace Academy is celebrating its 51st Annual Fall Fair on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Open to the public, the fair will take place amid the excitement of the recently-completed Arthur M. Blank Family Upper School. Pace will celebrate the completion of this landmark project with a medieval-themed extravaganza fit for kings and queens.

Making use of all that the newly-designed exterior spaces have to offer, the fair will extend over the expanded courtyard areas as well as the brand-new back athletic field. Last year’s popular playground area will return, and both Boyd and Inman gyms will be filled with unforgettable activities. After a hiatus in 2013, the Street Market will be back and will feature more than 40 artists and vendors offering items ranging from unique jewelry, toys and children’s accessories to gourmet specialty foods.

More than 40 events and attractions will be featured at this year’s fair, including bungee jumps, inflatables, karaoke, laser tag, mazes, obstacle courses, a haunted house and carnival games for all ages. Roving medieval performers, a video gaming truck, several new arts and crafts projects, and redesigned games for our youngest guests will be highlighted this year as well.

After taking 2013 off, Knights Grill will return and will offer freshly-grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken and other fare. Additional food vendors will include Chick-Fil-A, Willy’s, Buckhead Pizza and Café at Pharr. Of course, sweets and treats will abound, including King of Pops, Orleagian Snowballs, Yum Yum Dessert Co., a bake sale and a cupcake walk.

“The Pace Fall Fair is an integral part of campus life for Pace families, and the completion of the Arthur M. Blank Family Upper School is giving us even more of a reason to celebrate this year,” says Headmaster Fred Assaf. “We have a lot to be excited about on campus, and the Fall Fair is a great way for our families to engage with the campus and come together.”

ABOUT PACE FALL FAIR

For over half a century, the Pace Fall Fair has been a great environment for bringing families together to enjoy all the fun activities Pace Academy has to offer. From its humble beginnings in the early 1960s, the Pace Fall Fair has grown to be the can’t-miss event of the fall for families throughout Buckhead. From inflatables, sports and activities, to shopping, food and games for young and old alike, this fair has it all. In its 51st year, the fair has grown from a school event to an Atlanta tradition. As always, the fair will include festival staples like inflatables and rides; the MASH and Bones tents; Glamourama; Gem Mining; Wax Hands; the Haunted House; visits from Atlanta sports teams; and much more. The 2014 Fair will feature food trucks by many of Atlanta’s favorite restaurants, as well as the classic Knights’ Grill for burgers and more. Our littlest guests will love the smaller attractions just for them. Expect an attendance of more than 10,000 Fall Fair goers on the Pace campus at 966 W. Paces Ferry Road.
