Police Arrest Suspect in Stein Mart Bomb Threat

Brookhaven GA -- Police have arrested a woman in connection with a recent bomb threat at the Stein Mart on Peachtree Road.
Jodi Lee Kinsey, 25, of Doraville, has been charged with making terroristic threats.
In a story first reported by Patch, a bomb threat resulted in the evacuation of the Brookhaven Plaza store on Dec. 15. Police say Stein Mart management had initiated the evacuation due to a bomb threat received via electronic communication. Surrounding businesses were evacuated as well.
No bomb or explosive device was found.

“Brookhaven detectives worked tirelessly to identify the person responsible for this incident,” according to a police statement. “With all the information gathered by detectives, a warrant for terroristic threats was obtained for the arrest of Jodi Lee Kinsey.”
Kinsey was arrested on Tuesday and is in being held at the DeKalb County jail.
